This Frisco kitchen hadn’t aged well, like most kitchens built in the last 20 years it was very brown and beige. This couple wanted a modern update with an added wine area and a more functional island better suited to the needs of a young family.
This remodel included:
A new black composite sink with a beautiful chrome Kohler faucet
Painting all the cabinets and accenting the island a charcoal grey
Replacing the brown speckled granite counters with a white quartz
Lowering the “bar tier” on the island so that the island countertop was all one level
A new marble mosaic backsplash with accent spot behind the cooktop
Removing the light beige flooring and replacing with a contemporary grey 12x24 porcelain tile from DalTile
Cabinet upgrades included new hardware and the additional “wine area” cabinetry
