Before

This 22 year old home was ready for a bathroom update but the clients didn’t to depart from the traditional style they loved so much about their home. They also hoped to create a space that functioned for them better. The shower was too small and the wife’s vanity was an odd shape that left her sink unused and her cabinet storage difficult to access.

Vision to Reality

Initially this couple wasn’t interested in a freestanding tub…but showrooms changes peoples minds. The freestanding tub ended up being a smart move that freed up extra space to make the shower large enough to add a bench. The wife had to compromise on the vanity a little. Ideally they had hoped to keep a sitting area, add storage and keep the sink but after talking with our designer and our cabinet fabricator there was no way to get all three without a drastic floor plan change. One had to go, so we dropped the sitting area.

The satin gold fixtures in this bathroom really make this bathroom special, the sink faucets, shower system and tub filler are all Delta fixtures in “Brilliance Champagne Bronze.” The gorgeous tile selections were made at DalTile and Arizona, it’s a combination of real marble and marble-look porcelain. Cabinet and door hardware is Emtek.
